Yolanda Fetela Ntam

Founder

Hi, I’m Yolanda, a native of Boyui, a small village in Fundong Boyo Division, Cameroon. Growing up in this typical village setup, limited educational opportunities and the absence of information technology tools like computers and mobile phones were prevalent challenges. It wasn’t until after earning my first Bachelor’s degree that I had my initial encounter with a computer, and later, a mobile phone.

My journey was marked by obstacles, yet my resilience and determination to succeed led me to overcome these challenges and become a motivated, solution-oriented professional. Wearing multiple hats – Senior Accountant, Cloud Instructor, Mentor, an AWS Community Builder, – my tech journey unfolded during the pandemic. Within a year, I studied and passed three AWS certifications, culminating in my role as a cloud instructor.

My current passion centers around assisting vulnerable young people in discovering and acquiring innovative technology skills for free. In this present era, where information technology skills empower and transform lives globally, I founded BOYOtech . It’s my way of giving back to the young minds in my community who still face barriers to computer education.

Beyond personal accomplishments, BOYOtech is not just a project, it’s a movement. It’s about breaking barriers, creating awareness, and introducing more young people to the digital world and its opportunities. Explore BOYOtech with me, and together, let’s pave the way for the next generation.
